Firefox and Plugins

Firefox 3 was released on June 17, 2008. It is based on the Gecko 1.9 Web rendering platform witn more than 15,000 changes to improve performance, stability, rendering correctness, and code simplification and sustainability. Firefox 3 is built on top of this new platform resulting in a more secure, easier to use, more personal product with a lot more under the hood to offer website and Firefox add-on developers.

Mozilla released Firefox® 2 on Oct. 24, 2006, a major update to its popular and acclaimed free, open source Web browser. Here are some useful add-ons I used.

1. Tab Mix Plus by CPU
It includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs and windows, plus much more. It also includes a full-featured session manager with crash recovery that can save and restore combinations of opened tabs and windows.

2. Easy DragToGo 1.1.2.1 by Sunwan
Allows you to open links in new tabs, serach texts, save images and do more with drag and drop gestures easier.

Super DragAndGo by morphis (discontinued)
Drag a link or anything like a uri (e.g. "abc.com" ), and throw it to anywhere blank on the webpage to open the it in a new tab.

3. Gmail Manager by Todd Long
Allows you to manage multiple Gmail accounts and receive new mail notifications. Displays your account details including unread messages, saved drafts, spam messages, labels with new mail, space used, and new mail snippets.

4. Adblock Plus by Wladimir Palant
Get rid of all those ads and banners on the internet.

5. FireBug by Joe Hewitt
Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page...

6. LastPass by LastPass.Com
LastPass is a password manager that makes web browsing easier and more secure..

7. Video DownloadHelper bymig
The easy way to download and convert Web videos, audio and picture galleries from hundreds of YouTube-like sites.

8. PicLens byThe Cooliris Team

Tricks:1. 保护眼睛的窗口颜色-豆沙绿色
桌面->右键->属性->外观->高级－>项目选择（窗口）、颜色1（L）选择（其它）将色调(Hue)改为：85。饱和 度(Sat)：123。亮度(Lum)：205－>添加到自定义颜色－>在自定义颜色选定点确定－>确定

在firefox里,在tools->options->Content->fonts&colors->Colors, Text and background 选 Use system colors, 同时不要选Allow page to choose their own colors
这样所有的文档都不再是刺眼的 白底黑字，而是非常柔和的豆沙绿色，这个色调是眼科专家配置的，长时间使用会很有效的缓解眼睛疲劳保护眼睛

1. 先把BT种子上传到http://anyhub.net/， 会得到一个地址。 2. 打开http://torrific.com/， 需要简单注册，email邮箱就够了。 3. 把从http://anyhub.net/得 到的地址paste到这里，点击get，然后再点击fetch，你的BT任务就进去排队了。 4. RP好的话，可能你需要的BT文件已经有人下载过了，服务器上有副本available，那么直接下载就是了。如果unavailable，等个一两天就 会下载完成，下载。速度很快，基本能达到你的最大带宽。
